Now that you have bought and received your decals / stickers, it’s important to know where exactly you should place and align them. Similar to the differences in decals / stickers per region, model and trim level, also the placement and alignment differs.

Japanese Levin and Trueno decal / sticker placement

There are some differences between the early-type (zenki) and late-type (kouki) and the most prominent difference is that the early-type has different decals for the 2-door and 3-door models.

Early-type (zenki)

The placement of the decals / stickers on the side mouldings should be aligned at the top section of the moulding:

2-door Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno (early-type)

The early-type 2-door Corolla Levin Sprinter Trueno have a very specific sticker placement.

First of all, the 2-door Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno features a Toyota Corolla Levin or Toyota Sprinter Trueno decal where the Levin and Trueno part are vertically centered on the trunk / bootlid. The N (of LEVIN) and O (of TRUENO) are aligned on the bottom right and placed 14mm (9/16 inch) from the side of the trunk / bootlid and 9mm (3/8 inch) from the bottom.

The Toyota part is aligned with the bottom of the Levin and Trueno decal. Both the trim level decals (Apex Twin Cam 16 and GT Twin Cam 16) are not centered on the bootlid, but their bottom is aligned with the bottom of the Corolla decal. The trim level decals are placed 14mm (9/16 inch) from the side of the trunk / bootlid and 13mm from the bottom (1/2 inch).

3-door Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno (early-type)

Just like the 2-door, the early-type 3-door Corolla Levin also has a very specific sticker placement.

The GTV Twin Cam 16 and Apex Twin Cam 16 decals / stickers need to be aligned on the left bottom corner of the G or A. This corner needs to be 600mm (23 5/8th inch) from the center of the bootlock and 30mm (1 3/16th inch) from the bottom of the hatch. On the other side of the hatch, the Corolla Levin / Trueno decals are aligned on the bottom right corner of the N (of LEVIN) or O (of TRUENO). It needs to be 585mm (23 inch) from the center of the bootlock and 30mm (1 3/16th inch) from the bottom of the hatch.

Late-type (kouki)

The placement of the decals / stickers on the side mouldings should be aligned with the centreline of the moulding:

2-door Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno (late-type)

The late type 2-door Corolla Levin / Sprinter trueno share the design with the late type 3-door Corolla Levin / Sprinter trueno. The placement of the stickers is the same as on the early type: the N (of LEVIN) and O (of TRUENO) are aligned on the bottom right and placed 14mm (9/16 inch) from the side of the trunk / bootlid and 9mm (3/8 inch) from the bottom.

3-door Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno (late-type)

The late type 3-door Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno have the exact same decal / sticker placement as on the early type.
