As you may already have read, I personally am moving to Australia in the next month or two. When Art and myself started the shop as an extension of the forum we did so because there was a need for a parts supplier in Europa, not because we're expert part sellers. We really went in this as an out of control hobby. It turned out that running such a shop takes much more time and risk then we ever expected. It has been loads of fun and we've learned alot of good stuff. With me leaving, it is impossible for Art to carry this weight on his shoulders. With more and more other parties (some full time established shops) entering the market the need for our little shop is diminishing as well. So we have decided its time to move on. shop.aeu86.org will close in due time, we will sell the stock we still have, possibly discounting certain products. We're also planning one or two one time offer things. However, once everything is gone thats that. We WILL continue the forum, we WILL continue the commercial sales section for other venders, and some of the smaller products (such as stickers) we will keep selling but not from our shop, but as part of forum merchandise. Our shop has now been open for a whole year and what a year it was! Its been mad figuring everything out. Balancing this service to the Hachiroku community with our normal work and lives, both myself and Art becoming fathers around the summer. We've had our share of ups and downs, from supply troubles, to selling entire stocks within weeks. The most important thing though was, we've had great fun doing this! We feel confident that 2008 will be an even better year. Koni availability Mon Jan 07, 2008 9:57 pm by banpei We finally have a deal that will allow us to supply KONI Yellow shocks. These are fully adjustable oil shocks (rebound). We're able to supply both the original AE86 replacement shocks (adjustable off car) and the shorter AE92 (adjustable on car) shocks that you will need if you fit higher spring rates. These shocks are easy adjustable (rebound) oil-dampers through a screw mechanism. They make a great combination with our Apex springs! Sat Dec 08, 2007 1:07 pm by Mux213 This fall our Mintex supplier let us know they were changing their strategy and one of the things they had decided was to let go of their Mintex product line and hand that over to a new supplier. It took a little longer then expected due to our unique nature as a Hachi Roku specialized shop but yesterday we finally got our new stock of Mintex racing pads in from our new supplier! We would like to thank KAVO for their great support during our first year and wish them the very best. There are some nice extras to this. First, we were able to buy out some remaining stock of Mintex pads that we can sell at a nice discount. These are not AE86 pads but other brands.
